This is a hearty amber ale with generous but transient head.

Spicy hops on the nose with subdued toffee maltedness.

Lively citrus and spice on the tongue, with a more hearty maltiness, and truly creamy carbonation.

With a surprisingly clean, gentle herbaceous finish, this craft IPA is boldly moderated, evoking something like the paragon of what Alexander Keith’s IPA might have been, if it was made fresh and not horridly skunked and skunky.

Feed this to your domestic swilling friends and watch them squirm and admit it’s actually really good.

Classic pub fare accompaniment on a budget. A true Hoochsavvy power performer.

Hoochsavvy Grade: A-
