Drink: Tanqueray Rangpur Gin
Source: Udv – Laindon, Scotland, Great Britain
Size: 750 mL
Although in the bottle it presents as a pale green, this gin is actually colourless on the pour.
Juniper and the eponymous rangpur limes emerge upon nosing, as well as lemon zest and grassy notes.
On the palate, the lime pulls through the strongest, with the key note of juniper, and other aromatics like bay leaf and coriander.
The finish is light with a gentle warmness. Suitable for drinking with club soda, tonic water, or in a classic Humbertian Pin—stay tuned for that recipe.
A bright and zesty gin that eschews its heightened ABV and the sometimes overzealous juniper characteristic of many London dry gins.
Elevate your martini or gimlet by spending only a few extra dollars.
